Reader FAQ:
Was Amber modeled after anyone special?
No one in particular. However, as I was writing her I felt myself identifying with the crossroads that she found herself in. Should she continue boxing or should she follow an old dormant dream to go into landscaping? And then to be surrounded by people who just know for certain what you should be doing. However loving, its terribly misguided.
Was Andrew always meant to be Autistic?
No, in fact I was reading a romance book where the hero was Autistic and I couldn’t help but think, more. More of this. The imperfect perfect man, and in that moment I knew Andrew was meant to be Autistic. Versus some other story and couple.
What did you like best about this book?
Amber and Andrew. Tackling the issue that your soul mate might not be who you think. To follow your heart and go where it leads. Even if its telling you to leave the box your family, society, and even you, have put yourself in romantically.
